Have you ever been tired? I mean really tired. Tired of going to the same job? Tired of dealing with the same issues in your life? Tired of having the same arguments with your significant other? I tell you I have definitely been there. One day I will share my story and the many twists and turns that my life has taken before I arrived at my place of purpose. Today I am writing to encourage you. It's hard for you yes, but your future needs you to keep going.
I want you to know that I'm not here to tell you that things are going to go away simply because you want them to. This is not a "get blessed quick guide." If you're looking a name it and claim it guide I can't help you. I can tell you however that EVERYTHING you are going through is for a purpose and when you reach it that purpose you will understand why there had to be so many struggles.
First I want to get you out of the mindset that things are supposed to be easy. The commercials and ads on T.V. and everywhere else paint you this picture that life is supposed to be so easy. They portray pictures and images that make you believe that life is always supposed to go the way you want it go. If you believe that you will always be disappointed. The truth about life is that It's not going to make things easy for you. If you want life to go the way you want it to go you're going to have to force it. I'm not telling you to go commit a crime to get what you want of course not. What I am telling you is that if you want things to change in your life ONLY YOU can change them. Only you and no one else. If you're not happy with something in your life guess what? You have the power to change it. I'll go even further to say that you SHOULD go ahead and change it. Get out of the mindset of re-acting and get to being pro-active! Don't wait for life to give you something, You go and take control of your own life. Make life give it to you. You have the power to point your life in any direction. I want to say this even to those of you who are like me. I made some mistakes in my early years that its taking some of my adult years to over-come. However I came to a place that I decided my circumstance wasn't going to tell me how my life was going to end. My circumstance did and still does give me a little more to deal with but I took my life back! I am more than my past mistakes and so are you. I changed my future my making new choices. Fight for your future! Fight for your life! My life is beyond blessed and it happened because I trusted God to help me take my life back and change my future. It wasn't easy It took MY EFFORT! Life is not going to lay down for you. You don't lay down for life either.
Here's number two: Don't be afraid to let people go. If you have kids make the most out of having them, but anyone else in your life that is causing you more stress than peace you should release! (hey that rhymes lol) but it's so true. Life is hard enough by itself you don't need someone else making it harder for you. I'm here to tell you that it's not worth your heartache and peace just to say you have somebody. I decided whoever I did choose to have in my life would treat me with love and respect whether it be a friend or a girlfriend. You have to love yourself more than that. Don't allow anyone to devalue your worth. Life is hard enough, you don't need a person in your life speaking negativity. You need people in your life to uplift and support you. It's not always about financial support either. You need emotional, spiritual, and mental support. Stop short changing yourself. You deserve better than that! The only one you need to make your life work is God almighty. Whether it's friends or a significant other, or anyone else don't be afraid to release what is not productive or positive in your life.
